Governors Hit the Road to Face Jefferson County

The William Blount boys basketball team traveled to Jefferson County on Monday night for a Region matchup on the road. Details from the game were limited, but the Governors took on a Jefferson County squad that plays hard at home and made the trip a tough test for Coach Reeves' group.
Without a full account of the scoring, it's hard to point to one sequence that decided things, but games at Jefferson County are never easy, and the Governors will look back at stretches where they battled to stay in it. Effort and execution in the halfcourt were the story for a team still building chemistry in the middle of the season.
